Modernist designer, Gerhard Herbst translates sculptural form into the jewelry medium. Popularly known for his spatial shapes and fluid manipulations of metal, Herbst began producing his unique style of jewelry in 1975. Herbst then continued on to study both sculpture and jewelry design at San Diego State University, and upon graduating he established his jewelry studio in Ocean Beach California.
