The creation of each piece begins with a flat sheet of metal, shaped using a sheet metal brake.  The colors emerge organically from the copper itself, capturing nature through the application of salts and acids, resulting in captivating patinas.

My process is a blend of many disciplines, incorporating techniques acquired through formal studies. However, both the artwork and the unique process behind it are entirely original, evolving through years of personal exploration.

Please note that this work may exhibit some tooling and sanding marks. The satin-like appearance of all the copper-colored metal is intentional, and any tool marks are beneath the surface of the lacquer. It’s important to understand that all the artwork is painstakingly hand-formed, not machine-made, and is, by nature, imperfect.
